Home to one of the seven natural wonders of the
world, Port Douglas offers the closest departure point to the Great
Barrier Reef from anywhere on the Queensland coast. There are numerous
reef tours operating from Port Douglas, offering daily trips to Low
Isles and the Outer Reef, but one of the best ways to enjoy the reef
experience is to charter a boat for exclusive use by your family and
friends.
Private boat charters guarantee a personal level of service, gourmet
food, fine wines and a trip to remember for a lifetime. With a range
of activities available from diving, snorkelling, fishing, exploring
or just plain fun, the qualified crew will add their expertise to your
adventure. The Skipper knows just the spot to go for the type of day
you have in mind. A private boat charter gets you and your family or
friends to places the average tourist never gets to see. The Great Barrier
Reef is our playground, explore it in the privacy of your own vessel
with a crew who will make the day as action packed or as laid back as
you like.
Most boats have an hourly rate, usually requesting a minimum of three
hours and will cater for cocktail parties, sunset drinks or lunch. Scuba
diving is not included in the price and usually incurs a fee for a dive
master and dive equipment plus a per dive charge.
