Synergy II is a 62ft, visually exciting, high performance, sailing catamaran offering superb style inside and out. The vessel is fully air-conditioned and possesses state of the art satellite navigation equipment. Synergy carries 12 guests on day trips to the Great Barrier Reef.

Synergy II operates under sail or motor at a cruising speed of 10 knots, reaching speed over 16 knots under the right conditions. A yachtsman's dream, Synergy II offers superb style inside and out. Deciding to come aboard Synergy II will be like boarding your own private yacht for the day or longer. Guests are free to do as much or as little as they please. You will be invited to take part in the sailing process - take the helm and have the intricacies of navigation explained. Our computerised chart system makes it fun and easy.

As a catamaran of 30 foot beam (width), Synergy II is unsurpassed in terms of stability so the journey is smoother than with most powered and sailing mono-hulls, making Synergy II more appealing to those who are unsure of their compatibility with ocean vessels! Shallow draft allows Synergy II to explore and anchor in places denied to other craft. And its high performance sail plan and asymmetrical spinnakers generate exhilarating sailing in complete comfort.

Our highly experienced Skippers, have guided vessels through the elaborate reef systems of the Great Barrier Reef for many years. Our Skippers are only too happy to spend time explaining the intricacies of our navigation system and there is ample opportunity for guests to sit behind the wheel of Synergy II.

Destination
On our daily cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, Synergy II sails to Tongue, Chinaman or Rudder Reef. Our Skipper will choose the best location according to the conditions on the day to maximise your experience.

Child Policy
Families with children under 4 years of age can still enjoy a day out on Synergy by chartering the vessel. In this way, Synergy can choose the destination according to the specific needs of those with children.

A luxury day charter aboard Synergy II is a great way for you to see the Great Barrier Reef, whether it be a wedding, corporate function or family day out. Synergy II will be at your disposable to depart and return at a time that suits the group and we will provide a customised itinerary to suit your needs. We can visit Undine Day, Low Isles or head to the Outer Barrier Reef for spectacular snorkelling. With a roving permit we can choose the best spots on the day..

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS

Credit card number or tour voucher number from agent to secure booking.

Private Charter
A charge of no less than 20% deposit is required on confirmation of booking, with balance due 48 hours prior to travel.


CANCELLATION / CHANGE OF DAY

Day Sailing Trip
Less than 24 hours prior to departure will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total fare

Private Charter
Less than 48 hrs prior to departure will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total fare value


OPERATION DAYS

Day Sail / Private Charter
7 days per week with the exception of Christmas Day and scheduled maintenance periods


WEATHER
On very rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances requiring changes to the suggested itinerary. Synergy Reef Sailing reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary for the safety and comfort of its passengers and crew. Should Synergy II not operate for any reason passengers will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.
