Just wanted to let you know how wonderful our stay at Red Anchor was. The property was everything and more than what we expected. Location was superb, facilities amazing, cleanliness was outstanding and your service brilliant. Thanks again and we hope to make a trip to pt Douglas an annual event so I reckon you will hear from us again.

Fantastic Holiday House – Our group of 7 loved spending a week at Red Anchor. I can’t think of one thing this house is missing. Very comfortable house with air con and ceiling fans in every room. Fully equipped kitchen with basics in the pantry. Comfortable couch with Foxtel. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Clothesline in the garage was very handy. Very quiet area with a short walk to shops and restaurants. Port Douglas Getaways were great to deal with. Well done to all involved.

“Our home away from home” The first thing that struck us when we arrived was that the Red Anchor looked like a home rather than a holiday house. There was plenty of room for our family and friends and the kitchen was spacious and well appointed. We made good use of the generous pool and outdoor tables and lounges. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room and also ceiling fans in the alfresco dining area. The Red Anchor is within walking distance of shops and eateries and its location of Port Douglas is a gateway to Great Barrier Reef and other attractions of Far North Queensland. We have no hesitation in recommending the Red Anchor to families and anyone else traveling to Port Douglas. We will certainly stay here again in the near future.

We loved this house, everything you would need was provided, the pool is fabulous and the situation brilliant. We hired bikes and never once needed a car in our 10 night stay. Loved the house, loved Port Douglas. Hope we can come back soon

The Red Anchor is a remarkable holiday destination! It has every amenity of a luxurious home. It has a relaxing atmosphere with a friendly ambience. The attention to detail and high standard of interior decorating is stunning. Staying here gave us an opportunity for a fun-filled, happy holiday. My surprise birthday dinner was amazing! Glory, glory… unforgettable! It was always a highlight of the day to come home to the lovely Red Anchor. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful place. Loved it! In appreciation always.
