“Great house, great location. It was as good as represented.”
Our family of 5, plus 2 friends, stayed at Fiddleleaf for 7 days. It was wonderful. The house is really clean, especially the kitchen, bathrooms and living areas. The Beachfront Mirage is quiet, yet it has really easy access to the beach. We would stay here again.

“Excellent house in great location”
Great house, great location everything on the web site truly reflects the house. And it is probably even better than that. Very relaxing. Very clean. We had 2 couples, both with 2 kids each, and we had lots of space. Kitchen is better than our kitchen at home, so no complaints at all. The guys at Port Douglas Getaways were also really helpful, as it was our first time in Port. It won’t be our last. We can’t believe it took us so long to find Port Douglas, and Fiddleleaf is a great place to stay.

“Superb. A wonderful family holiday.”
We have just had the most wonderful week in Port Douglas… No doubt due in part to staying in this lovely house Fiddleleaf. We haven’t had such a nice family holiday for years. Our 3 teenage kids actually spent time chatting with us in the mornings and evenings. We would sit out the front every evening, over a glass of wine and chips, and each of us would talk about what we had done during the day. Same thing in the mornings – we actually had breakfast together. The pool was great, the house immaculately clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. We unconditionally recommend this house for a family holiday.

“Perfect relaxing accommodation in great location”
6 of us, old friends, wanted to get away from work and the cold in Melbourne and Sydney for 2 weeks…..2 couples and 2 singles. We liked the Fiddleleaf web site, especially the video (very cool idea – you see exactly what you get), so we gave it a go. We are all glad that we did. Even though it rained for one full week, the house is spacious enough, with covered areas front and back, that we had lots of room to work out, do some yoga or just chill. The pool was heated to 28 degrees, so some of us swam every day. Just as stated, the house is about 100 metres by a private entrance to Four Mile Beach…..and 800 metres along the beach to Macrossan Street….we measured it.
It’s a lovely house in a lovely estate. Good Wi Fi internet, good cable TV – Port Douglas Getaways were also great. We walked in to town one morning to report that the dishwasher seemed to be faulty, and it had been fixed by the time we got back to the house. Our favourite thing was to walk in to town each morning, buy fresh croissants and bread from Brumbys (open at 6), and then have a very relaxed breakfast by the pool (we also appreciated the Nespresso – thanks). A really nice place to stay, and we’ll be back.

“A great house for 3 generations to stay.”
A colleague at work recommended Fiddleleaf as I wanted somewhere to stay with my Mum and Dad, and our 3 kids. It was perfect. No stairs, so Dad was fine, and the 2 main bedrooms both had en suites, Tv’s and loads of space. Dad likes to watch his own TV shows. The pool was lovely and warm, and the sitting area under the huge roof was where we spent most of our time. The Beachfront Mirage estate is lovely, and safe, and the private walkway to the beach made it easy for Mum and Dad to come with us and watch while the kids played on the beach. So now I would recommend Fiddleleaf as well, especially if you want to have a holiday with the in laws.

“Awesome house in awesome Port Douglas!”
We wanted somewhere nice for 4 couples for 10 days in Port Douglas. This place was perfect…4 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (2 en suites), great kitchen, pool and sitting area…we had lots of room. The estate that the house is in is really lovely, so you can wander down to Macrossan Street, go for a walk on the beach, or sit by the pool drinking (far too many) wines and beers. It’s so balmy in the evenings in Port Douglas…it’s great. For what we wanted, it was perfect.

“A wonderful week in this beautiful clean luxury house next to the beach”
We stayed with our family, 7 adults, and had a wonderful week. The house has 4 beautiful large bedrooms, 2 with en suite bathrooms and TV’s, so we could have our own space when we wanted. It’s very spacious, inside and out, which was perfect for what we wanted. The house is in Beachfront Mirage, so very private, and has its own little rainforest walk plus a private walkway to the beach. It’s really nice. Our favourite things were to relax by the pool, or to walk down the beach to town…about 10 minutes. It’s a lovely house to stay and relax, and Robyn and Sunta were great in helping us with our arrival and getting comfortable in Port Douglas.
